Job Description:
Responsible for quoting and procuring raw materials, spare
parts, components, tooling, equipment and purchased services at the
appropriate quality, lowest price and within an acceptable time
frame.
Will also run reports, prepares purchase orders, solicit bid
proposals and review requisitions for goods and services.
Coordinates with Customer Service Department to place emergency
orders with suppliers or to expedite parts from vendor, maintains
manual or computerized procurement records, such as items or
services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality or
performance, and inventories
