Apprentice Job Description Innovative Sheet Metal (ISM), a
successful and fast-paced commercial contractor, is currently
seeking a hardworking Sheet Metal Installer / Apprentice for
commercial HVAC projects in Salt Lake City and the surrounding
areas. This position is ideal for someone looking to build a
long-term career in the sheet metal and mechanical trades, with 0–5
years of experience . Our team works on a wide variety of
commercial projects, and we are looking for dependable individuals
who are eager to learn, work safely, and take pride in quality
work. Responsibilities Install, assemble, and seal commercial
ductwork. Use power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
Cut metal and assist with duct fabrication and installation tasks.
Move and stage sheet metal materials on job sites. Assist with
demolition and removal of existing HVAC systems as needed. Maintain
a clean, safe, and organized workspace. Follow all jobsite safety
requirements and company policies. Work as part of a crew under the
direction of a foreman or lead installer. Additional Information

construction experience (commercial HVAC preferred). Willingness to
learn and take direction in a fast-paced environment. Valid
driver’s license and reliable transportation required. Dependable
attendance and ability to work a consistent 40-hour work week.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical jobsite work. Must be
of good moral character and work well with others.
