Responsibilities

This position is for the AFNWC ICBM Directorate ISC 2.0 project.

• Good requirements management skills
• Ability to read circuit layout documents
• Understanding of fundamental Electronics/Engineering concepts and principles specific to area of practice
• Understanding of lifecycle management and systems engineering (highly desireable/preferred)
• Skill set includes ability to perform all stated/implied duties within the level/tier and those reasonably derived from preceding tier
• Working-level, electronics-engineering services
  Qualifications
  
  Due to our contractual requirements and an Executive Order from the White House, every federal government employee and onsite federal contractor will be asked to attest to their vaccination status. This requirement will apply to Guidehouse employees who work onsite for the federal government. -Minimum SECRET security clearance.There are three levels for this position: Principal, Senior, Journeyman, Junior with educational and experience requirements as follows:
  • Principal: BS degree in an Engineering discipline AND MS degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or Physics + 15 yrs experience OR PhD + 9 yrs of experience
  • Senior: BS degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or Physics + 10 yrs experience OR MS degree + 7 years experience OR PhD + 4 yrs experience
  • Journeyman: BS degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or related field + 4 yrs experience OR MS degree + 2 years experience OR PhD + 1 yrs experience -DESIRED:
    • Relevant core and advanced certifications as established/required per local, national and international industry standards or as necessitated by performance expectations associated with level of appointment such as:
    • Certified Calibration Technician
    • Certified Quality Technician
    • Certified Technology Manager
    • Residential Electronics Systems Integrator
    • ISA Certified Control Systems Technician
      • ICBM experience preferred
      • TS clearance desired
      • Technical leadership of Electronic/ Electrical Engineering services
