Job Description:

Lakeview Behavioral Health, a leader in mental health services, is currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This mixed shift position offers a unique opportunity to work within a dynamic team focused on providing high-level psychiatric and psychological care. The ideal candidate will manage complex medication regimens, monitor critical psychiatric conditions, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate patient recovery in a compassionate and supportive environment. Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to critically ill psychiatric patients. Monitor patient condition continuously, respond to mental health emergencies, and administer medications as prescribed. Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans. Educate patients and their families on diagnosis, treatment plans, and ongoing management of their mental health. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality and compliance with health regulations. Expertise in psychiatric nursing care Proficiency in managing severe mental health crises Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Capacity to make swift decisions in high-pressure situations Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse (CPMHN) certification preferred
