Job Description:
Intermountain Healthcare invites applications for the position
of School-Based Athletic Trainer. This role provides a unique
opportunity to work within educational environments to enhance the
health and performance of student athletes. As part of our
non-profit health system, you will play a crucial role in our
outreach programs, delivering expert care and education in
preventative measures, injury assessment, and rehabilitation

athletic injuries and conditions among students. Develop and
implement comprehensive injury prevention and rehabilitation
programs. Educate athletes on strategies for safe practice and
competition. Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
and stakeholders. Monitor progress of athletes and modify treatment
plans as necessary. Ensure compliance with all state regulations
and school policies regarding student health and safety. Proven
ability to assess and treat sports-related injuries. Strong
interpersonal skills for effective communication with students,
parents, and school staff. Knowledge of rehabilitation equipment
and techniques. Ability to work independently and make decisive
healthcare decisions. Proficiency in maintaining accurate medical

(ATC) by the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer.
Licensed as an Athletic Trainer in the state of Utah (or eligible
to be licensed). CPR and First Aid certification.
