Job Description:
Please note, this position is located at Deer Valley Resort in
Park City, UT.DescriptionPURPOSE OF POSITION: Coordinate all
International Recruiting efforts including selection of BridgeUSA
Summer Work Travel, Working Holiday, and Intern/Trainee sponsor
agencies; organize discussions determining the number of
participants to hire per manager; select BridgeUSA job fair dates;
organize travel and attend international job fairs and organize
virtual interviews when applicable. Act as the Deer Valley Resort
Representative of the H-2B Program and work with our legal team on
all H-2B Program matters. - Ensure that Deer Valley Resort, hiring
managers, and H-2B workers follow requirements set forth through
the H-2B Program. Provide input regarding the planning,
coordination, and implementation of all recruiting efforts
(including local, destination travel coordination, and
International Recruiting) as a part of the Recruit Team. -Will
support the efforts of Recruiting and Housing Manager and
Recruiter-Strategic Sourcing. - JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be extremely organized with an acute attention to
detail
- Be able to multitask on a variety of projects
- Be able to communicate with a wide variety of personalities -

- Possess strong communication skills and be able to work well
under pressure
- Possess strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel,
PowerPoint, Word, and Office 365 as well as report writing and
development skills
- Possess an intuitive sense of navigating software and be able
to process information in a logical fashion to maintain accurate
databases
- Previous interviewing and hiring skills helpful
- Must be proficient at creating and using spreadsheets
- Have a good working knowledge of Deer Valley Resort
- Available for overnight travel as recruiting needs dictate JOB
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: General
- Assist Recruiting and Housing Manager and Recruiter-Strategic
Sourcing with organizing, updating, and maintaining all database
systems related to applicant hiring and recruiting
- Develop and generate reports for informational purposes
- Balance work schedule with the Recruiter-Strategic Sourcing
regarding walk in job inquiries, correspondence, requisitions and
rehires, and database maintenance
- Research and build new partnerships with resorts and recruiters
from similar hospitality properties including coordinating end
dates for H-2B in-country extensions
- Assist in the planning and organization of all local recruit
efforts including fall Job Expos, Farmers Markets, other local Job
Fairs
- Provide input in the organization of recruit trips by planning,
booking, and organizing of airfare, hotels, rental car, and other
expenses
- Attend job fairs as assigned as the representative of the
company
- Provide input in the coordination and development of recruiting
posters, stickers, and all recruit printed materials
- Collaborate with Recruiter-Strategic Sourcing to generate end
of season Recruit Report by providing statistics regarding
applicant flow and hiring practices
- Attend End of Season recruiting meetings with hiring
managers
- Create agenda and manage International Hiring Recap meetings at
end of season with managers
- Assist with the planning of Park City Welcome Night
International Programs - BridgeUSA Summer Work & Travel:
- Research and keep abreast of any changes in regulations
governing the BridgeUSA program, including participating in
Community Support Group (CSG) and program advocacy events
- Follow up on all laws governing the BridgeUSA programs. Ensure
that the HR Front Desk team is educated on the records needed for
processing a participant for I-9 documentation and payroll accuracy
due to exemption of specific taxes
- Evaluate and coordinate all International hiring efforts with
Recruiting and Housing Manager by selecting sponsor agencies to
partner with, determining number of students needed by manager,
coordinating Internship options (including summer options when
applicable), organize virtual interviews and travel for
international job fairs and virtual participant interviews
- Complete and maintain Sponsor Agreements, supplement forms, SWT
Job Offer Agreements and other necessary sponsor agency
documentation
- Guide participants through entire application process and
follow-up with managers regarding wages, start/end dates, merit
increases, etc.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to create, update, and maintain
Department of State compliance for Intern Training Plans (DS-7002
Forms)
- Educate managers on the program basics and regulations and
maintain communication with managers throughout the year to ensure
appropriate recruitment numbers
- Organize and implement an International Intern and SWT
Orientation for the beginning of the winter season
- Follow up with all concerns and issues that may arise with the
participants and communicate the concerns with the appropriate visa
sponsor. Seek assistance from the Recruiting and Housing Manager
when needed
- Coordinate Social Security Trips for participants and follow
through with the SSN applications until all numbers are submitted
to HR/Payroll
- Create and continually maintain all spreadsheets for
International Interns, Working Holiday, and Summer Work and Travel
Programs
- Work with Housing Manager on housing arrangements for
participants, i.e. applications, deposits, correspondence, etc.
H-2B Program: -
- Respond to H-2B inquiries in a timely manner
- Update the International Programs webpage with accurate
information pertinent to the H-2B Program
- Ensure all legal documents are accurate and have proper
signature from the Deer Valley President. Submit documents in a
timely manner in accordance with deadlines set by legal team -
- Train and act as point person for Hiring Managers for all
compliance questions and best practices
- Work with HR Front Desk and Payroll for rehire job offers and
ensure prevailing wages are updated to new hires and adjusted for
rehire job offers
- Post all job requisitions, create partnerships with summer
seasonal resorts for in-country partnerships, and research
marketing efforts for out of country postings at Southern
Hemisphere ski resorts
- Manage the Reimbursement process for Corresponding Workers and
H-2B Workers. Work in conjunction with Accounting or Payroll
- Keep H-2B physical files up to date in the event of an
audit
- Assist with the onboarding process of H-2B workers
- Coordinate travel for H-2B workers
- Conduct Hours Audit during the winter season to ensure
compliance for - guarantee and prevailing wage guarantee
- Confirm all H-2B Workers have Social Security Cards
- Receive international mail for H-2B workers (Bank Cards &
Social Security Cards)
- Oversee the budget of the H-2B Program, track all receipts for
each petition and conduct end of season report on cost per hire,
year over year data, and overall review of the H-2B Program
- Create Employment Verification Letters for H-2B Workers upon
request Other Duties:
- Assist with other HR Functions as needed, such as Years of
Service Dinner, Winter Party, etc.
- Should be familiar with duties and responsibilities of other
members of the HR staff, having the ability to assist them as
needed and answer general questions when appropriate
