You'll see it all at Tommy's Cabin - hawks, eagles and wildlife are your regulars at Tommy's! PURPOSE OF POSITION: Assist in the smooth operation of food and beverage sales in the on-mountain cabin. Work together as a team to achieve our goal of superior guest service. Beautiful views, fresh air and a unique summer opportunity! SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be 21 years old or over
• Must be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised
• Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds
• Must maintain a pleasant and courteous attitude
• Previous cash handling experience
• Utah Food Handler's Permit required
• Previous experience in food and beverage service
• Honesty and reliability
• Must be available to work most weekends and all holidays, including spring break JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Report to work in ample time to be in proper Deer Valley uniform with name tag
  • Ensure that proper safety procedures are followed when loading supplies on the lifts and when traveling to and from work locations. Your safety is the most important thing!
  • During service hours, maintain clean and organized work space and facilities, inside and out; clearing snow from decks, cabin entrances and restrooms
  • Janitorial duties as assigned, including trash removal, cleaning restrooms, cleaning floors by vacuum and mop and cleaning windows.
  • Ensure correct and prompt processing of cash and charge transactions, as well as maintain correct balance in bank
  • Check identification for beer sales
  • Clearing tables, rearranging furniture
  • Have a complete knowledge of all the food and beverage products offered
  • Have a working knowledge of all food and beverage equipment. Help keep coffee urns, soda cooler, thermos and creamers clean, stocked and in proper working condition. Report any malfunctions to your supervisor
  • Have a working knowledge of stocking and ordering procedures
  • Assisting our guests with any service needsRequirements
