e are currently seeking a highly strategic manufacturingOffline
Production Supervisorin our North Salt Lake, UT facility who will
be responsible forsupervising, training, and building a teamthat is
dedicated and committed to excellence, with open communication
andleading them to SUCCESS! This position is currently open for all
Internal Employee's (hourly/salary) to apply if
interested.Schedule:1st shift, M-F 7AM-3:30PM
You will bring your proven people leadership skills tocoach, mentor
and motivateyour team while determining the best practices and
implementing the practices on all shifts. You will be a hands-on,
boots-on-the-ground, engaging and involved leader to your team. You
will lead by example and ensure to hit targets (in order of
priority) in safety, quality, service, cost, and production. Your
problem-solving skills will be key in this role!
In this critical role, you must be able tomanage offlinereel
building, grinding and pelletizing processes, order to coordinate
and supervisethe offline order scheduling priorities, as well as
production schedule for reel requirements. You must also order
production materials, ensure pelletizing process, and machine hours
are optimized to ensure maximum plant potential in consuming
regrind.
As an Offline Supervisor, you will need1-3 years of lead or
supervisory experiencein manufacturing roles as well asoverseeing,
and monitoringthe departments inventory, cycle counts, safety,
handling multiple projects all while leading a team. Also,having a
background in extrusion is a PLUS!You will need excellent
multi-tasking skills with the ability to handle multiple projects
with multiple deadlines, demonstrating an ability to prioritizing
between what is urgent and what is important. You will also need
alean manufacturing(training or implementation),5S, consensus
building and a continuous improvement mindset. You will
beresults-oriented, thrive in a fast-paced environment and have
excellent communication skills.
What else can help you succeed in this role?
Use your organizational and multitasking skills to oversee
production.
Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
to complete required daily and monthly reports on attendance,
machine efficiency, scrap, process improvement, etc. (ERP/SAP
experience is a plus!)
Conducting daily Gemba walks, safety audits and quality checks is a
huge plus!
