Location: Salt Lake City, UT Job Schedule: 9/80, off every other
Friday Job Description: The System Engineer - Test position owns
the test process, including concept, design, root cause analysis,
and corrective action. This Engineer will become a subject matter
expert via collaboration with Design and Systems Engineering. This
Engineer will then apply their knowledge to create and refine test
processes implemented by Testers and Technicians in Operations.
Whenever issues arise, this Engineer is dedicated to determine why
the issue occurred and implementing corrective action to prevent
future, similar failures. Essential Functions: Define, trace and
maintain test process requirementsTest procedure creation and
maintenanceImprove test yield through root cause and corrective
actionCreate product related technical information in support of
OperationsEnsures overall technical performance for Test
Engineering developmentsWork with Engineering to facilitate the
transition of products from design to productionProvide input to
Engineering to support product life cycle managementProject
management for Test Engineering developmentMentor Engineers with
less experienceProvide input to organizational visionProvide
technical test consultation to internal organizations, contract
manufacturers or customersRepresent Test Engineering in technical
discussions to outside organizationsEvaluate contract manufacturers
capabilities to provide required products or servicesParticipate in
product design reviewsSupport manufacturing floor to help overcome
production issues Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4
years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum
of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree,
minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. Preferred
