Engineer – Chemical Valves Remote – Open to candidates anywhere in
the U.S. Travel: ~50% (Domestic & International) Full-Time | Direct
Hire $115,000–$175,000 base 20% annual incentive bonus Medical,

Applications Sales Engineer to support and grow business within the
Specialty Chemical market. This role blends technical application
expertise with consultative selling, serving as a trusted advisor
to customers while partnering closely with Sales, Commercial
Operations, Engineering, and Product Management. What You’ll Do Act
as the technical and applications sales lead for Specialty Chemical
valve solutions Partner with Sales teams to support new business
development, account growth, and key customer engagements Translate
customer process requirements into optimized valve and system
solutions Support RFQs, bid reviews, and vendor list qualifications
with strong technical input Collaborate with Engineering and
Product Management to customize products and support required
certifications Influence specifications and position solutions
early in the sales cycle Analyze market trends, customer needs, and
competitive offerings to support commercial strategy Develop
pricing recommendations in partnership with Commercial Operations
Identify service expectations and lifecycle requirements for
chemical applications Deliver customer presentations, technical
training, and product demonstrations Support internal training to
improve sales and cross-functional understanding of chemical
applications Provide market feedback to guide product development
and portfolio strategy Prepare professional reports, presentations,
and commercial insights for leadership What We’re Looking For
Strong background in chemical process applications, valves, or flow
control solutions 10 years of experience in applications
engineering, technical sales, or commercial roles Proven ability to
support and influence sales teams in complex, engineered solution
environments Experience working directly with customers in the
Specialty Chemical market Strong understanding of pricing strategy,
RFQs, and commercial decision-making Ability to communicate complex
technical concepts in a clear, customer-focused way Excellent
presentation, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
Strategic, solutions-oriented mindset with a sense of urgency
Comfortable working cross-functionally across global teams
Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% Bachelor’s
degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred
